Jack Marriott has revealed that Luke Young, Jordan Tunnicliffe and Cameron Green will all leave Wrexham AFC at the end of the 2024/25 season as things stand.
The Dragons have a host of players who are all out of contract in the summer of 2025, including the aforementioned trio.
Marriott has confirmed in an interview with BBC Radio Wales Sport that Young, Tunnicliffe and Green will not sign new contracts and are set to depart at the end of next season.
Luke Young
Young is a 37-year-old defender who has been with Wrexham since 2021.
The former England international has made over 100 appearances for the Dragons and has been a key player in their rise up the National League.
However, Young is now entering the twilight of his career and it is understandable that he may want to move on to pastures new.
Jordan Tunnicliffe
Tunnicliffe is a 29-year-old midfielder who has been with Wrexham since 2022.
The former Wycombe Wanderers man has made over 50 appearances for the Dragons and has been a regular in the team this season.
However, Tunnicliffe has not always been a popular figure with the Wrexham fans and it is possible that he may be moved on in the summer of 2025.
Cameron Green
Green is a 23-year-old defender who has been with Wrexham since 2021.
The former Tranmere Rovers man has made over 50 appearances for the Dragons and has been a regular in the team this season.
However, Green has not always been a popular figure with the Wrexham fans and it is possible that he may be moved on in the summer of 2025.
What does this mean for Wrexham AFC?
The departure of Young, Tunnicliffe and Green will leave a big hole in the Wrexham squad.
Young is a vastly experienced defender who has been a key player for the Dragons, while Tunnicliffe and Green are both young players with potential.
However, Wrexham have a number of other players who are out of contract in the summer of 2025, so they will have to start planning for the future.
